The guidance below describes our store policies and how to prepare a question; it does not confirm that any pictured garment is available to buy.
\n
\n
Support requests at a glance
\n
\n
Support is handled by email at support@hawaiidshop.com.
\n
The email link opens your email application; you must send the message yourself.
\n
No automatic ticket receipt is promised on this page.
\n
Response target: 1 business day.
\n
\n
\n
1. Open a written support request
\n
Use this email link to start a message, or type support@hawaiidshop.com into your email application. Opening the link does not send anything. Review the recipient, add the details that apply to your question, and press Send in your email application. Keep the sent message as your record. This page does not claim that a ticket was received simply because you clicked a button.
\n
The support mailbox still needs an owner delivery-and-reply check. If your message bounces, retain the delivery error and avoid repeatedly sending sensitive attachments. No alternate phone number, social account or walk-in address is listed as a support channel. A message from an unfamiliar profile using the brand name should not be treated as an authorized response.
\n
2. Choose one primary topic
\n
Start with the main decision you need: an item specification, size guidance, an order change, tracking help, a return or an approved refund. A single message can include connected facts, but the subject should make the primary request clear. For example, an incorrect size received is a garment problem with a possible return, while choosing a size before purchase is a product-information question.
\n
If several items are involved, list them separately with their selected options. Say whether you want the same resolution for each. One item may need an exchange while another should be refunded. Do not rely on “the blue one” if several garments have blue in their design. A product link, SKU and selected size or color identify the intended line more reliably.
\n
3. A product question before purchase
\n
Include the item link and the specific detail you want confirmed. Useful topics include finished-garment chest width, back length, package contents, fiber composition, care instructions or actual print placement. Say what the page already tells you and what remains unclear. Support should not infer a manufacturer fact from an opening campaign image.
\n
For a fit question, measure a shirt you already like using the method described in Size Guide. Label the unit and whether the chest measurement is a flat width or circumference. Do not send an identity document or a full body photograph to make an ordinary size comparison. If you are comparing two products, include both links and the difference that matters to you.
\n
4. An order change request
\n
Give the order number and explain the exact action you want. If changing a size, name the current size and the requested new size for the relevant line. If correcting an address, identify that you need an address correction without putting sensitive information in the email subject. Use the email associated with the order where possible.
\n
The default change or cancellation request window is 24 hours after placement, provided the order has not shipped. A sent request is not confirmation that the action succeeded. Wait for a response identifying the change or cancellation. If the parcel has already left, the applicable return process should be explained instead of promising an impossible stop in transit.
\n
5. A delivery concern
\n
Give the carrier name, tracking reference and latest scan when available. Describe whether the issue is a label that has not progressed, a delayed transit event, a delivered scan without a parcel, or an incomplete package. These situations call for different checks. Include the relevant dates and any carrier message, but remove unrelated addresses or account details from screenshots.
\n
Read Order Tracking before labeling a short gap as a loss. The published trigger is 7 business days without an update or beyond the latest estimate; the investigation limit is 5 business days before replacement or refund. If the trigger has been reached, say which event started the interval and what outcome you would prefer. A replacement cannot be promised from unverified inventory.
\n
6. A garment problem
\n
Explain what differs from the confirmation or listing. A wrong item, a damaged seam, a missing piece and an ordinary change of mind are different reasons, though the 60-day return window covers every product for any reason. Use ordinary light for photographs and include a full view plus a useful close-up. Keep packaging until you receive instructions when its condition matters to the case.
\n
Do not repair, alter, destroy or ship away the garment solely to produce evidence. Ask for the intended next step. If support needs an additional view, the request should explain what it will help verify. Avoid including faces, personal documents or bank information in the frame. A reference typed in the message is usually preferable to a full photograph of the order paperwork.
\n
7. A return or exchange request
\n
State the delivery date, the exact item and whether you prefer a refund or exchange. For an exchange, identify the requested size or color. Availability must be checked; asking for a different garment does not reserve it. Obtain the authorized return destination and instructions before posting a parcel. Never assume that the sender address on the original package is the returns address.
\n
The return-request period is 60 days from delivery. There is no restocking fee. The default ship-back period after approval is 14 days, and the inspection target after receipt is 2 business days. Change-of-mind return postage is the customer’s responsibility, while store-error returns use a prepaid label or reimbursement instructions. Exchange outbound postage is free.
\n
8. A refund follow-up
\n
Identify the approval date, approved amount and refund reference where supplied. Distinguish a request awaiting review from a refund already approved. An inspection approval, photo-claim approval or confirmed cancellation can establish the relevant start date. Do not send a complete bank statement when a redacted transaction line would address the issue.
\n
Approved refunds reach the original payment method within 7 calendar days of approval. If that period has passed, explain what you see on the original payment account. A pending authorization may look different from a posted refund; support should clarify the transaction rather than suggest that you repeatedly pay again. Never send an account login or verification code for a refund inquiry.
\n
9. Follow up without losing the record
\n
Keep the original subject and reply in the same conversation. Add the date of the earlier message if your email application starts a new thread. State what is new: a later scan, another photograph, a corrected size or an elapsed policy period. Avoid changing the requested action without explicitly saying so, especially where one message asked to cancel and another asked to keep the order.
\n
The response target is 1 business day. It is a target for a written response, not a guarantee that a carrier can stop a parcel within that time. Check spam and mailbox rules if you do not see a reply. Preserve a bounced-message notice and do not rely on an unverified message from a different sender simply because it mentions the store name.
\n
Keeping a clear record without sharing too much
\n
A short record of the item link, SKU, selected size, selected color and date of your question is often more useful than several screenshots without context. If you are discussing an existing order, add the order number and the email used at checkout. Keep the original confirmation and any later change confirmation together. A reply in the same email thread helps avoid applying a request to the wrong variation or missing an important date. An initial message is a request; it is not proof that a change, refund or return has already been approved.
\n
When a photo is needed, show the relevant part of the garment and explain what the photo is meant to demonstrate. A full front view plus one detail can distinguish a wrong design from a print placement concern. Crop out unrelated people, documents, addresses and background items. For a delivery label, obscure details that are not needed to identify the issue. Never include a full payment card number, security code, account password or one-time authentication code in an attachment or support message.
\n
For any time-sensitive issue, state the date and time zone in plain words. Saying “today” or “last Friday” can become ambiguous when a message is reviewed later or when you and the store are in different countries. Delivery dates, return-request dates and cancellation requests each serve different purposes. Write the event next to the date so the sequence is clear. You can find the applicable processes on Cancel or Change an Order and Refund Policy.
\n
Preparing a useful fit question
\n
Choose a shirt that already fits the way you want the new one to fit. Button it, lay it flat without pulling the fabric, and measure across the chest from one underarm seam to the other. Write down whether your number is a flat width or a full circumference. These are different measurements: a flat chest width is approximately half the garment circumference, while a body chest measurement includes no extra room for movement. Sending the wrong type of number can make an otherwise careful comparison misleading.
\n
Measure the back length from the top shoulder area to the hem using the method shown in the listing, if one is provided. Note whether the shirt is intended to be tucked in or worn loose. For a relaxed Hawaiian shirt, the amount of room you prefer at the chest, upper arm and shoulder is a personal choice. A smaller label is not automatically a better fit, and sizing up does not fix every problem. If your shoulders fit but the hem is too long, explain both concerns instead of asking only for a larger or smaller size.
\n
For a gift, use measurements from an existing garment where possible. Do not infer a size from a photograph of the recipient or from their age alone. Matching outfits also do not require everyone to wear the same label size: each person needs their own comparison. Keep body measurements private when they are not needed, and never send a face photograph or identity document to support for an ordinary fit question. Ask for missing item measurements through Contact Us.
\n
The return and refund policies work together
\n
You can request a return for any product, for any reason, within 60 days of delivery. There is no restocking fee. The return-request deadline is different from the period for shipping an approved return back: our default ship-back period is 14 days after return approval. Contact us first so the correct return destination and instructions can be provided. A website address, a sender address on an old parcel or an address found on a search engine is not automatically the current returns address.
\n
Return shipping is free when the item is damaged, defective, wrong or not as described; the store provides a prepaid label or reimbursement instructions. For a change of mind, including a size or color exchange, you pay the cost of sending the item back, and we pay to ship the exchange item out. An exchange depends on the requested item actually being available. If it is not, the refund path remains available. Do not buy a second item merely because you have asked for an exchange unless you intentionally want a separate purchase.
\n
Approved refunds reach the original payment method within 7 calendar days of approval. Approval means that the return has been received and inspected, a photo claim has been approved, or a cancellation has been confirmed. A request for help, a postage receipt or a pending bank authorization does not necessarily identify that approval date. Ask for the date and refund reference if you need to follow the progress.
