Before you shop
\n
Use the collections to narrow the style you like, then read the individual listing for the actual garment. Category labels describe navigation, not a guarantee that every item has the same material or size range. Check the design, selected options, price, measurements and package contents. If a detail is missing, ask about it rather than filling the gap from a campaign photograph. Our Size Guide explains measurement methods, and Contact Us explains how to write a useful question.
\n
Ordering is currently unavailable while the catalog and payment route are being verified. A collection link, a style photograph or a design discussion does not reserve an item. Do not send money through an email link, bank transfer request or social message claiming to open an order that the website cannot currently accept. The Payment Methods page describes the current payment status and the conditions for a valid checkout path.
\n
Understanding an apparel listing
\n
A Hawaiian shirt is a style description, not a complete specification. A camp collar, a tropical print and a short sleeve can appear on garments with very different fabric composition, weight, construction and fit. Read the actual listing for the individual item. A photograph can show the print mood, but it cannot establish fiber content, washing temperature, production country or a certified environmental standard. If any detail is absent, ask about it before deciding that the shirt suits your needs.
\n
Start with the product name and SKU, then check the exact size and color you selected. A parent product can contain several variations, and the image shown before a selection may represent only one of them. Save the chosen variation name along with the link when asking a question. A small, medium or large label is not a universal body measurement; it is meaningful only alongside the measurement chart for that particular garment. Our Size Guide explains how to compare a shirt you already own.
\n
A gallery has several different jobs. The main view shows the whole garment, the detail view shows the print and construction, and a worn view shows a styling idea. Lighting, pose and screen settings can affect how these views look. A campaign image should be read as inspiration rather than a measurement chart or an inventory record. Where imagery is a generated illustration or a digital mockup, that distinction matters when assessing the final print and blank garment.
\n
Preparing a useful fit question
\n
Choose a shirt that already fits the way you want the new one to fit. Button it, lay it flat without pulling the fabric, and measure across the chest from one underarm seam to the other. Write down whether your number is a flat width or a full circumference. These are different measurements: a flat chest width is approximately half the garment circumference, while a body chest measurement includes no extra room for movement. Sending the wrong type of number can make an otherwise careful comparison misleading.
\n
Measure the back length from the top shoulder area to the hem using the method shown in the listing, if one is provided. Note whether the shirt is intended to be tucked in or worn loose. For a relaxed Hawaiian shirt, the amount of room you prefer at the chest, upper arm and shoulder is a personal choice. A smaller label is not automatically a better fit, and sizing up does not fix every problem. If your shoulders fit but the hem is too long, explain both concerns instead of asking only for a larger or smaller size.
\n
For a gift, use measurements from an existing garment where possible. Do not infer a size from a photograph of the recipient or from their age alone. Matching outfits also do not require everyone to wear the same label size: each person needs their own comparison. Keep body measurements private when they are not needed, and never send a face photograph or identity document to support for an ordinary fit question. Ask for missing item measurements through Contact Us.
\n
Choosing a print you will enjoy wearing
\n
Think about the colors you already wear most often. A botanical shirt with several shades can be easier to style when one of those shades connects to an existing pair of shorts, trousers or a skirt. A large floral motif makes a different visual statement from a fine repeating leaf print. Neither is a measure of quality. Choose a scale and contrast that feel comfortable to you, then review the actual garment photographs rather than judging a pattern only from a small thumbnail.
\n
A printed fabric may be cut at a different position in the pattern repeat for different garments. Unless a listing promises a specific placement, a flower, bird or leaf may not sit in exactly the same place on every shirt. This is different from receiving the wrong design or a materially different color. Keep the product link and selected color name when asking about print placement. If you need exact matching across several shirts for an event, explain that requirement before placing any order.
\n
Different display settings can make coral appear more orange or pink and can change how deep an indigo looks. Review the main photo, the close view and the color description together. A filtered social photograph should not outweigh the information on the listing. For a color-sensitive event, ask a specific question about the design and the lighting of the photos. We do not promise a physical swatch, custom color match or print modification unless the item page explicitly offers that service.
\n
2. Before an order leaves
\n
If you need to change an order, identify the exact line and the intended new size, color, quantity or address. Say clearly whether you want a change or a cancellation. Our default request window is 24 hours after placement, if the order has not shipped. A request must still be checked against the actual dispatch status. Reply in one thread and wait for a written confirmation; a second order should not be treated as an automatic replacement for the first.
\n
Check the confirmation against the items you meant to buy. Look at the item names and selected options, not only the total. If you bought two shirts with similar names, a wrong size can be easy to miss. An address should include the apartment or unit information required for delivery. Do not send a full payment card number to correct an order. The order-change guide describes the details to include without exposing unnecessary information.
\n
3. Following a parcel
\n
Use a dispatch confirmation and the carrier actually named for that parcel. An order confirmation is not proof of handoff, and a label-created scan is not a final delivery event. If an order is split, each parcel may have its own history. Keep the parcel reference together with the items it is supposed to contain. Do not assume that the first parcel’s delivery date is also the delivery date of an item that was sent separately.
\n
If scans stop or an estimated delivery range has passed, gather the tracking reference and the latest scan before contacting support. Our policy uses 7 business days without an update or beyond the latest estimate as the lost-parcel trigger, with a 5 business day carrier investigation limit before replacement or refund. These steps do not turn every short gap between scans into a confirmed loss. Read Order Tracking for the different scan states.
\n
Reading delivery information carefully
\n
The configured delivery area is the United States, Canada, New Zealand and Australia. The WooCommerce shipping zone offers free outbound shipping with no minimum order amount or coupon. This configuration describes the intended checkout rate, not proof of a particular carrier route, dispatch location or guaranteed delivery date. Product fulfillment and the payment route must be verified before ordering becomes available. A request from another country does not create an available shipping method.
\n
The preparation estimate is 1–3 business days and the transit estimate is 3–7 business days, subject to carrier verification. Preparation is the time before handoff; transit is the movement after handoff. They should not be treated as two alternative promises or as a guaranteed arrival in three days. Weekends, public holidays, border processing and an incomplete address can affect a parcel. If you need clothing for a fixed travel or celebration date, explain the destination and date before relying on an estimate.
\n
A label-created message means shipment data has been prepared; it is not the same as a carrier acceptance scan. Where tracking is available, use the carrier named in the actual dispatch confirmation and follow the scan history. Do not enter your payment details on a page asking for an unexpected delivery fee merely because it mentions a familiar shop name. Our Order Tracking guide explains the information to collect, and Shipping & Delivery explains how to raise a late or lost parcel concern.
\n
4. When an item arrives
\n
Open the parcel carefully and compare the garment, size and color with the confirmation. Keep the label and packaging until you know that everything is correct. Try the shirt gently indoors if you need a fit check. If something looks damaged, wrong or materially different from the description, take a full view and a useful close-up before making any alteration or repair. Contact us with the order line and the outcome you prefer.
\n
You can request a return for any product within 60 days of delivery, for any reason. No restocking fee applies. A problem with the garment and a change of mind use different return-shipping responsibilities, but both remain within the published policy. Do not send a parcel to an assumed address. Read Returns & Exchanges and obtain the return instructions for the relevant case.
\n
The return and refund policies work together
\n
You can request a return for any product, for any reason, within 60 days of delivery. There is no restocking fee. The return-request deadline is different from the period for shipping an approved return back: our default ship-back period is 14 days after return approval. Contact us first so the correct return destination and instructions can be provided. A website address, a sender address on an old parcel or an address found on a search engine is not automatically the current returns address.
\n
Return shipping is free when the item is damaged, defective, wrong or not as described; the store provides a prepaid label or reimbursement instructions. For a change of mind, including a size or color exchange, you pay the cost of sending the item back, and we pay to ship the exchange item out. An exchange depends on the requested item actually being available. If it is not, the refund path remains available. Do not buy a second item merely because you have asked for an exchange unless you intentionally want a separate purchase.
\n
Approved refunds reach the original payment method within 7 calendar days of approval. Approval means that the return has been received and inspected, a photo claim has been approved, or a cancellation has been confirmed. A request for help, a postage receipt or a pending bank authorization does not necessarily identify that approval date. Ask for the date and refund reference if you need to follow the progress. Read Returns & Exchanges for the parcel process and Refund Policy for the money process.
\n
5. When you are following a refund
\n
Check whether the refund has been approved, rather than only requested. The relevant approval event may be inspection of a returned item, approval of a photo claim or confirmation of a cancellation. Write down that date and the approved amount. A pending authorization, a payment reversal and a posted refund can appear differently in a banking app. Avoid making several new payment attempts just to test whether the original transaction has changed.
\n
Our policy is that approved refunds reach the original payment method within 7 calendar days. If that period has passed, contact us with the approval date, amount and refund reference where one was supplied. Use a redacted screenshot only when it helps show the problem. Do not send login details or a security code. The Refund Policy explains the money process separately from the return-parcel process.
\n
Keeping a clear record without sharing too much
\n
A short record of the item link, SKU, selected size, selected color and date of your question is often more useful than several screenshots without context. If you are discussing an existing order, add the order number and the email used at checkout. Keep the original confirmation and any later change confirmation together. A reply in the same email thread helps avoid applying a request to the wrong variation or missing an important date. An initial message is a request; it is not proof that a change, refund or return has already been approved.
\n
When a photo is needed, show the relevant part of the garment and explain what the photo is meant to demonstrate. A full front view plus one detail can distinguish a wrong design from a print placement concern. Crop out unrelated people, documents, addresses and background items. For a delivery label, obscure details that are not needed to identify the issue. Never include a full payment card number, security code, account password or one-time authentication code in an attachment or support message.
\n
For any time-sensitive issue, state the date and time zone in plain words. Saying “today” or “last Friday” can become ambiguous when a message is reviewed later or when you and the store are in different countries. Delivery dates, return-request dates and cancellation requests each serve different purposes. Write the event next to the date so the sequence is clear. You can find the applicable processes on Cancel or Change an Order and Refund Policy.
\n
Contact HawaiiDShop
\n
Write to support@hawaiidshop.com with the page or item you are asking about.
